Conditions Leading to Immediate Disqualification
The following actions will result in immediate termination of the motorcycle test and a fail result. These are classified as critical errors under the K53 system and relate to safety, balance control, observation, and lawful riding behaviour.

Motorcycles
1. Rider and Motorcycle Condition

You will be disqualified if you
• Use a motorcycle that is not roadworthy or not properly licensed.
  
• Fail to wear the required protective gear (including helmet, gloves, and appropriate footwear where applicable).
  
• Operate a motorcycle with any mechanical defect that compromises safe control or braking ability
  
• Experience a mechanical failure during the test that affects safe riding.
  
  2. Dangerous Riding and Safety Violations
  Immediate failure will occur if you:
• Perform any reckless, uncontrolled, or dangerous riding action.
  
• Lose control of the motorcycle at any point.
  
• Ride in a manner that endangers yourself, the examiner, pedestrians, or other road users.
  
• Are involved in a collision that could reasonably have been avoided.
  
• Fall off the motorcycle during any part of the test.
  
  3. Balance, Control and Low-Speed Handling
  Immediate failure will occur if you:
• Put a foot down unnecessarily during controlled slow-speed manoeuvres (where balance must be maintained).
  
• Allow the motorcycle to fall over or tip during any exercise.
  
• Fail to maintain balance during figure-of-eight, cone weave, or similar control exercises.
  
• Stall repeatedly in a manner that indicates loss of control or inability to operate the clutch and throttle correctly.
  
• Cross or knock over cones during precision riding exercises.
  
  4. Observation and Road Awareness
  Immediate failure will occur if you:
• Fail to perform required observation checks (mirror and shoulder checks) when changing direction or lane position.
  
• Do not demonstrate proper awareness of surrounding traffic conditions.
  
• Fail to yield or give right of way when required by road rules or examiner instruction.
  
  5. Manoeuvres and Test Requirements
  Immediate failure will occur if you:
• Fail to complete any required manoeuvre within the permitted number of attempts.
  
• Do not successfully complete emergency stop or controlled braking exercises when instructed.
  
• Fail to demonstrate correct control during acceleration, deceleration, and gear changes.
  
• Deviate significantly from the prescribed test path or instructions.
  
  6. Time Limits and Penalty Thresholds
  The test will be terminated if you:
• Exceed the allocated time limit for any section of the test.
  
• Accumulate excessive penalty points beyond the allowable threshold for the motorcycle test.
  
• Demonstrate repeated critical errors indicating unsafe riding competence.
