Driving Licence Test

Conditions Leading to Immediate Disqualification
The following actions will result in immediate termination of the test and a fail result, as they are considered serious safety violations or critical test failures under K53 assessment standards:

Light and Heavy Motor Vehicles
1. Vehicle Condition and Legal Compliance

• Using a vehicle that is not roadworthy or not properly licensed
  The vehicle must be in a safe, legal, and roadworthy condition.Any defects that compromise safety or legality will result in immediate failure.
  
• Mechanical failure during the test.
  If the vehicle experiences a mechanical breakdown or failure that affects safe operation, the test will be stopped and marked as a failure.
  
  2. Dangerous or Unsafe Driving Behaviour
• Performing any uncontrolled, reckless, or dangerous action.
  Any loss of control, unsafe manoeuvre, or behaviour that endangers yourself, the examiner, or other road users will result in immediate disqualification.
• Being involved in a preventable collision
  Any accident or collision that could reasonably have been avoided will lead to immediate test termination and a fail outcome.
  
  3. Manoeuvres and Vehicle Control
  
• Failing to complete a manoeuvre within the permitted number of attempts
  All yard and parking exercises must be completed within the allocated attempts.
  Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
  
• Allowing the vehicle to roll forward or backward unintentionally
  Any uncontrolled movement of the vehicle, whether during stationary control or manoeuvres, is considered a critical fault.
  
• Failing to correctly demonstrate hand signals when instructed
  Inability to perform required hand signals accurately and safely when requested will result in immediate failure.
  
  4. Time and Penalty Limit Violations
  
• Exceeding the 20-minute time limit for the yard test
  The yard test must be completed within the allocated time. Any overrun results in immediate disqualification.
  
• Accumulating more than 50 penalty points during the yard test
  Reaching or exceeding this threshold indicates insufficient control and results in automatic failure.
  
• Exceeding 8 penalty points per minute during the road test
  During the road driving assessment, exceeding the allowable penalty point rate will result in immediate test termination and failure.
