PAGE 12: Motor Bike Rules

Emergency Stop and Swerve

This exercise measures your reactive control.
You will accelerate to a required speed, monitor an automated signal light matrix, and immediately execute either a controlled emergency stop or a sudden hazard-evasion swerve depending on which light illuminates.

General Exercise Rules and Target Speed
Target Velocity.
You must accelerate straight along the track and reach a minimum speed of 25 km/h before triggering the signals.

The Signal Matrix.
Keep your eyes forward on the light board ahead. Once your bike passes point "B", the lights will trigger in a completely random order.

Speed Buffer.
If you ride too slowly, you will only be granted a maximum of two attempts to hit the target velocity, provided you didn't touch or cross any boundary lines on your first run.

Strict Boundary Constraints.
The lines marking the straight acceleration runway between point "A" and point "C" are absolute boundaries—touching them at any point will result in a penalty.

Scenario A: The Emergency Stop Procedure
If the middle (red) light illuminates on the board, you must immediately execute a maximum-efficiency stop using this exact sequence.

1. Initial Setup.
Complete a mandatory 360-degree observation before moving off on command from point "A".

2. Accelerate.
Pull away, shift up into a higher gear, and hold a steady path within the boundary lines.

3. Quick Reaction (Red Light On).
The moment the red light triggers, immediately pull in and disengage the clutch lever.

4. Simultaneous Braking.
Apply both the front and rear brakes firmly and simultaneously.

5. Controlled Stop.
Bring the motorcycle to a halt in the absolute shortest distance possible. Your front tire must not protrude past the 45th calibration mark on the track tarmac.

6. Maintain Freeze.
Keep your perfect balance and do not move or shift the motorcycle at all until the examiner has physically marked and logged your precise stopping point.

Scenario B: The Swerve Procedure
If an amber light illuminates on the board instead, you must execute a sudden lane evasion maneuver rather than stopping.
The Maneuver.
Swerve immediately in the direction indicated by the light.

Track Boundaries.
You must steer your bike completely across and beyond the calibrated track line "K-L".

The Final Stop.
Bring the bike to a safe stop before hitting the outer boundary wall, taking absolute care not to touch track lines "O-P", "M-N", or any surrounding outer boundary markings.

Point Penalties

25 Penalty Points.
Performing the swerve maneuver incorrectly or failing to clear the designated lines will result in an immediate 25-point penalty recorded against your score.

Three-Attempt Allowance.
You are permitted a maximum of three attempts in total for any single direction, provided you do not touch or cross any track boundary lines during those runs.
